Garage Door Repair Reviews in Canandaigua, NY (Updated May 2026)

A very professional company, from setting up the appointment to coming out and doing the work efficiently and neatly. Like many companies, Precision has the tech call when on the way to your home, but then you also get a text confirming the call, with a photo of the technician who is on the way. I don't think it took him half an hour to replace the rollers on two garage doors, along with replacing the rubber gasket that seals the bottom of the doors.

Precision Door has great customer service. They were able to get my emergency service done on time and quickly. They are friendly and fair. Chose them because the did a repair for me in 2019 on the door spring. The came right out did a great job and did not charge an inflated price. I contacted them to replace my garage and shed doors due to damage from a hail storm in 2024. I was pleased with their cost for work and had them order the material. Work is scheduled in a couple of weeks and I am sure that that it will be good quality.

Tech "Z" was very informative and efficient. Chain broke on 22 year old Chamberlain opener. I knew I was going to replace the opener. Z offered options and recommendations after inspecting entire door, roller and spring system. Z went right to work with my choices. When returning home on a Friday night, the cables of our garage door detached from our garage door after we used our remote to lower the garage door after we parked the car in the garage. I called Precision Door that evening and an appointment was scheduled the following day. Ron arrived at my house on Saturday morning. Prior to his arrival, he called, sent a text identifying his role with the company, and had a tracker which showed how far he was on the route to my house. Ron determined that the spring had broken on our garage door. He had the necessary equipment and was able to repair the job in about 45 minutes. He thoroughly checked the door to make sure that there were no other issues. I was very pleased with the overall experience with how Precision Door handled my situation and the fine work that Ron did.
