Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.
Types of Reviews
This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.
At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.
This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.
This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.
This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

We chose a company that was local and nearby. We felt that if we had a problem, we wanted to be able to deal with the provider face to face. After we went to the showroom and talked with the salesman, we felt very comfortable dealing with Precision Door. Also, the representative that came to the house to measure the doors was prompt and polite and knowledgeable. Our doors were installed without any problems and we are very pleased with them.

The technician (Felix) arrived promptly at 8am on a Saturday. My garage door had never required
repair since it was installed in 1965. It's a 16 ft wide overhead wood door. After trying several times to adjust the springs above the door they were replaced. The door hardware was lubricated
(including the automatic opener). The door now operates as it did when new. Great job Felix.

Mark did his best to repair our ancient garage door opener. When that proved impossible, he gave us good information regarding our choices. He installed a new opener, checked out the opener on our other door, adjusted and lubed everything, and left our garage neat and clean.
We're very pleased with our new Precision door opener, and with the quality of service provided by Mark.

We bought and had installed a new door from Precision. They were very knowledgeable all the way through the process, from picking out a door to the install and even a few adjustments we wanted made afterward. Price was very competitive and always encountered positive attitudes. We are very picky so for them to have earned five stars from us was not easy. We would recommend them to our family and friends and will use them in the future if the need arises.

We needed our garage door opener repaired or replaced. I had previous experience with Precision and am always impressed with their website. So I called. The tech came out and without high pressure sales tactics informed us our opener could'nt be repaired (because it was so old, it no longer met code). He gave us the options and then proceeded to quickly and expertly install a new opener. He (Mark) was friendly, knowledgeable, thorough and neat and ultimately left us with a quiet and reliable opener that we'll enjoy for a long time.

My dealings with your firm over the past several years have been very positive, including repairs and, most recently, replacement of the door and the opener. The technician this last time, Mark Sherman, was very prompt, considerate and always concerned that the job be done properly and entirely to my satisfaction, which it certainly was. He spent extra time on a lingering problem, which I appreciated. I now get to enjoy the sound--or, I should say, the LACK of sound--of the garage door opening and closing smoothly. The overall rating is certainly a 5.

I reached out to the folks at Precision Door via email when my old garage door opener was acting up. Within a matter of a couple hours, I was provided with all the options for selecting a new opener and an appointment was scheduled for the next morning. Ron arrived on time, was friendly and professional. We discussed the opener options and he was candid about not selling me a model that I didn't need. Everything was installed and operating within an hour. Ron took time to explain all aspects of the operations of the new opener and he even programmed the auto opener in my car for me. I highly recommend these folks for any garage door needs. I actually need a new door this summer and will be contacting Precision Door for the replacement.

Ron did a great job on fixing my garage door, my tension spring broke and 2 cables,Ron explained to me that a 16ft. garage door should really have two tension spring`s instead of one and that it would be safer.He was at my house early and got the job done fast. I will highly recommend Precision Door service to my friend`s and neighbors and I will call on them again for other work in the near future.

I was amazed that you were able to come out to my home the same day I called and it was on the weekend. I had a very old Craftsman opener that was malfunctioning. I originally called to have this opener and the door adjusted. Felix was very patient by explaining all my options, both in repairing the existing opener and the cost of a new one. I elected to go with a new opener, but never felt pressured by Felix to do so. Felix is an asset to your company. He explained what he was doing every step of the way and seemed to truly enjoy his work. Felix even programmed the factory installed opener I have in my car. I know the value of the opener he installed as I had done my research and had considered doing it myself. But his expertise was worth far more to me than the aggravation I would have incurred and, I could have never adjusted the spring safely or installed the braided cables on the sides, which was the original cause of the malfunction. Lastly, I was floored when Felix told me he had been with your company only about one year. Felix seems far more experienced than that. I would give him a hefty raise in pay! (No, I'm not a relative). Thanks to you, but mostly to Felix. Because of Felix I would hire you again and would refer my friends to your company.
