I highly recommend Precision Door, giving them a 5 star rating installing my new garage door. Both Ron who did the estimate and Marty who installed the door. Both were prompt and on time as promised, calling ahead to tell me they were on their way. I’m enjoying the new quietness of the new door replacing a 40 + yr original door. I felt their price was reasonable in comparison to my other estimates.

I called because one of my springs snapped. They came out the next day and fixed the problem. I asked them to do preventative maintenance on my garage doors--I installed them in 1984. The price was reasonable. The service man was so helpful and courteous. He was quick, too. Overall, my experience with Precision gives them a top of the heap rating. I would certainly recommend them.

These guys get a 5 from me. From the first phone call made to them it has been great. Ron showed up on time for our appointment. Easy to talk to very down to earth. This is my first time using Precision Door and it certainly won't be the last. A cable broke on Saturday afternoon with 2 cars in the garage. All the other companies closed at noon. Total time from my call to Precision and Marty fixing the problem was less than 2 hours.

I am a repeat customer of Percision. We originally called 10+ years ago for a broken spring. We called on a Saturday afternoon, and a tech arrived a short time later. At that time the tech quickly rectified our problem, by replacing a broken spring. He explained that we only had one spring, but a two spring system would be recommended due to the size of our door. The work was done quickly and at a fair price. Today, my daughter called me at work to say she heard a loud noise while the garage door was closing, and the door was stuck halfway down. I told her not to worry, I know a guy. When I arrived home, I found a broken spring and a broken cable. I looked up the number for Precision Door and called for after-hours service. Within minutes I received a phone call from a tech who told me he was on his way to my home. He arrived and looked over the job and gave me an exact quote. He had all the parts in stock, on his truck, and had the door operating in about an hour. Prompt, courteous, and very professional. Three words I would use to describe the individual who serviced my garage door, on both occasions ! I would recommend your company to anyone.

Marty was courteous and friendly. I contacted Precision Door to find out what was wrong with my Genie door opener and if it could be repaired. I was never told what was wrong with it or whether or not it could be repaired (I did later see a review that they don't install Genie products so I am still wondering if mine can be repaired)... Instead he tried to sell me a new door. Why? Because my door (which even he admitted is in great condition still) is old and heavy. When I said a new door was not happening he explained that he was recommending it because one of my springs was not in great condition and the other spring was doing all of the heavy lifting (a new door would be lighter and have a different spring system). When I asked point blank if the spring could just be replaced I found out it could but that they don't carry springs that large and it would have to be ordered. While he was figuring out a new estimate for me I started looking online for spring costs. Well, I was quite surprised when Marty's quote for springs was 3 times the retail price I found online. I understand businesses mark up the products they sell but 3 times the RETAIL price is a bit excessive. Your staff is friendly and I don't doubt that your company has good products and does good work. I do however wonder about your honesty and integrity. I value honesty and the way this visit was handled does not make me comfortable with your company.

I chose Precision on a friends referral and because they were close by. I appreciated that the service person was prepared to install a new garage door opener and I did need so no time was wasted. The service Technician, Marty had opening to repair our garage door earlier than what was scheduled, which was appreciated. He did quick analysis of problem, went over everything with me and confirmed my approval to proceed. Marty was very pleasant, worked very efficiently and answered any questions I had. Very professional and quality work done. Would recommend Precision Overhead Doors to anyone.
