Fred was excellent! Starting with communicating (he was able to come early) and through his explanation of the problem and solution, I felt he was just what I would want from a service tech. The repair was not what I'd call cheap, but it was quite reasonable for the issue I had-- Fred found a way to update some worn parts and make adjustments so the old door works like new without the total replacement I feared... and that I'm sure some companies would have forced on me! I'd recommend him and Precision to anyone.

During a particularly snowy night, our garage door became unhinged. We called for emergency service and within an hour Ronnie came. In the next hour, he had not only fixed the problems but took the necessary steps to ensure that they won't happen again. To have an issue like this fixed within two hours of making the initial phone call was a huge relief and beyond our expectations. We will definitely be calling Precision for all of our repair, maintenance, and replacement needs.

Called Precision based on a co-worker's recommendation. He spoke highly of Precision! I called and scheduled an appointment to replace my garage door. Ron stopped by at the appointment time and told me straight out that nothing was wrong with my garage door and it would be a shame to replace it. Instead, he recommended a "Tune-Up" -- replace the springs, hardware on the door and balance it. I was thrilled with the idea (BIG SAVINGS!!!!). He sent out Jason to perform the tune up a few hours later and I was amazed!!! My garage door has never run so quiet and it's as light as a feather! I actually feel safe when I need to take the garage door off the electric opener -- it opens very securely and stays in place! I was extremely pleased with the work and the experience with Precision. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!!!

Ronnie squeezed us in the day that I called. The spring had gone on our door and we were in the middle of our first snowfall of the year and really wanted to get our cars into the garage. He was super courteous and explained everything that we needed in laymans terms. He gave me my options without any undue pressure and finished the job in a very timely fashion. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to Ronnie and would use him again (although I hope that I don't have to anytime soon).

Fred came to the house first and did a good job laying out our options without putting any pressure on us. We chose to put a new garage door on, and Robert did that work and it seems fine. We thought the light wasn't properly reconnected to the new door, so Ron you came out and determined it was just a burned out bulb (sorry about that). Overall, happy with the experience. We would recommend you to a neighbor or friend. Key features of the yellow pages ad (which is where we found you) were the same day service (which we ultimately did not use), the assertion you can fix any kind of door system and being a residential specialist. We felt you would be able to solve our problem and you did. It also helped that you had an East Rochester number, not too far from where we live. Hope this helps and thanks again. Fred was the technician that arrived to repair my broken spring. He repaired my springs quickly. He also inspected all the hardware and provided options while he was here. I chose to have all the rollers and bearings replaced in addition to the springs. I now have a lifetime warranty on all the parts of my door. I do not have to worry about repairs to my door again.
