My door cable broke on Sunday, I called Precision Door Service and reached a nice woman who scheduled my service for a 7:00pm to 9:00pm slot. Ron called me and said he could get to me sooner at 3:30pm if I was available. I said of course. Ron repaired my door quickly and I'm thankful for the service.

Called precision because my torsion spring had broken. Since its a $60 fee just to come to the house, I let them know exactly what needed to be replaced and the size spring it needed to make the trip worth the fee. The technician told my wife that putting in a new spring was a “bandaid fix” and tried to sell us a new garage door for $3000. Door is old. Doesn’t need to be replaced though. I gave specific instructions on what I wanted and they still tried to upsell my wife. Terrible. Will never do business with them.

Phil was quick and expeditious in completing the work and telling me how to follow up in the future if anything was needed, he also gave me a few tips on how best to care for my new parts to keep them optimally functioning. Called 6:30AM today for a broken spring on our 4 year old garage door. Scheduled an emergency appointment for 7PM over the phone, but Ron was able to come over 11AM and replace the spring. Very grateful for the quick response, as we were unable to manually lift the door to get our cars out. Thanks, Ron!

I must say, Precision Door Service proved to be an excellent choice to replace the springs on my garage door. Using their on-line appointment scheduler I was able to secure a visit the very next day. No issue whatsoever. Phil M. showed up at the appointed time and proceeded to work up a quote for the work. The price, I thought, was more than fair and Phil accomplished the work within an hour. He was friendly, professional and meticulous. He also explained carefully the options I had without overselling. I could not have selected a better company. A good experience.

These guys are fantastic... from the time they pick up the phone to the time they pull out of your driveway. Felix was the tech assigned to my house. He explained everything thoroughly and gave me a couple of cost options. Springs, cables and pulleys all replaced at a price I thought was very fair. Thanks guys!

I thought the online scheduling was great, and I received a reminder the day before my appointment as well. Sean was great! Did a small fix of one of my doors and tuned everything up. He was ahead of schedule, so that was a bonus as well. I really appreciate the text beforehand where you get a picture and bio of the technician who is coming. Nice touch!

The best. I will use Precision again and recommend them without hesitation. Felix Coriano was skilled, professional, friendly, patient. He did an excellent job of removing two old doors that had not functioned for many years. He installed new doors, new hardware and removed all the old remnants from the old and packaging from the new. I used Precision because the other two overhead door companies I contacted were incredibly expensive or the people I spoke with were abrasive and rude. It was a pleasure to speak with Felix before the job and I couldn't be more pleased with the finished work.

I called them for garage door service. They agreed on $65 service cost and $60 for the garage door wire. Garage door wire cost $10-15 bucks in Home Depot only. And then there were other parts which cost 3-5 bucks in home depot they charge five times for the part. End up fixing garage door for approx $200 dollar which could be repaired from less than $100 if I have chosen other places. If you ask for the service from this place I would recommend make sure you buy your own stuff from home depot or Lowe’s.
