In no time he had the problem diagnosed, I needed a whole new opener. He stayed past 6pm to ensure everything was installed and running properly. Yes, I ran into my own garage door! I only wish I could have blamed someone else. However, it only got better from that point on. I called Precision and Ron came out the next morning. What a pro! After doing some on-line research, I decided to go with Precision for my new garage door opener. Their Chamberlain openers are great and much quieter than my old machine. We had an issue with our opener and it just wasn't reliable. It was a chain drive that made lots of noise in addition to refusing to work at the most inopportune moments. Ron gave me a quote on a new belt drive unit and when we had finally had it with our old opener I called to have it replaced. They offered to do it the next day, on a Sunday! The installation was done quickly, professionally, and our new opener is nearly silent in comparison to the old unit.

Precision was the firm I purchased the opener from, so I turned to you for repairs. As always the responsiveness and service from Precision was 5- Star. It was a nice touch getting a heads-up e-mail including the name and photo of the technician who would arrive later in the day. Felix called to see if I minded him arriving a little early....of course not! This is the 2nd time due to freeze and thaw that my door jumped the track....last time the (anonymous) technician said since I was the cheeriest person he had dealt with that day, the quick fix was no-charge. Ron came and replaced broken tension spring. He also advised me that it would be a good time to replace the rollers as well(with polyeurethane) ones). He did not pressure me into the decision, I made the decision and he was able to do all the work within a few hours. Service was professional from start to finish.

We needed a new keypad installed for our garage door and called Precision. Everything from the appointment to the install was performed in a professional manner. On the day of the install we were called prior to the technician showing up to let us know he was on his way. The job was performed by owner Ron Kull who was professional, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied in every way. When we need our garage door serviced in the future, we will call Precision again.

Mark Sherman was excellent. This was an emergency service (Sunday) and he came around 6:00 pm. We called another place that offered similar services and they quoted an outrageous price over the phone without even seeing the issue. It was clear that the person did not want to do the work even though they offered emergency services. Mark was extremely accommodating and did the work in a well professional manner. There is no doubts that we will use Precision again when needed. They truly understand customer service!

I'm writing this review more than 5 months after the service call because most people are usually satisfied immediately after service is performed, but I wanted to be able to report that my garage door is still operating perfectly and smoothly several months later. Mark came promptly per the scheduled appointment time when I had a garage door that couldn't even be operated manually and was falling (dangerous!) from the top. The opener had completely failed and needed to be replaced and the condition of other parts like bearings and rollers were not good either. So it was a "big job" but I appreciated Mark explaining the problem, the solution(s) and my options. I like asking questions and watching the work during any type of service call as I always learn something new and Mark explained everything to my satisfaction, and he also told me what I could do to keep everything in good working order. It was a very cold February morning but he did everything cheerfully and was very professional, and cleaned up afterwards. I was on that day and still am a satisfied customer today.

Ron Kull showed up assessed the situation within minutes ( a badly frayed cable), replaced faulty cable, balanced all forces, tightened bolts and voila! the door was good as new.
