Hello, my name is Dave Ackley. Operations Manager at Precision Door Service of Rochester. When I am not working on garage doors, I enjoy spending time at home with my wife. In our free time, my wife and I love to get out on the water kayaking or fishing for Bass and Pike. I am a big Sports fan and follow everything from Baseball to Nascar. This company is top notch! I used another company for years and then the one time I needed a right away appointment they couldn't be bothered. That's when I found Precision - not only did they come that time without an emergency charge, they fixed it up at a reasonable charge. That won my business going forward. Today they put in a new garage door opener and very pleased!

It's -1 degrees outside today (1/31/2019) and the technicians, Drew and Chris, came after a courtesy call (as promised). Drew explained everything in detail first, then promptly got to work. They removed the broken garage door opener and installed the new one in one hour! They removed all debris. Drew even programed my car's remote control for me!

These guys are fantastic! First Dave came in the middle of a 2' snow storm and it wasn't even an emergency. He walked me through everything that was broken or need repair and we agreed that a new garage door would be best all around. The installation was scheduled very quickly to my amazement. Marty came too install the new door and did an excellent job. The job was done in only 3 hours and there was no clean up or rubbish to be done. Marty explain everything about the new door and made sure that it ws all working properly before he left. I would highly recommend Precision Door to anyone. Everything was perfect from A to Z and even better than I expected. Call them for repairs or new installation you won't be sorry!

Door failed to close. Great service. Called Friday night and repair tech arrived next morning at 8:15. He adjusted the electric eyes, greased the hinges, explained everything and was on his way in 30 minutes.m 5 star rating!

Dave Ackley stopped by 37 Albemarle St. to check out the wooden garage door which is 70 yrs old. He lubricated the tracks to help the wheels roll smoother. He was informative regarding the door. He referred us to another garage door company who might possess a supply of older springs, tracks and door lock. He was all one might ask for in any business man, helpful and honest. Fast, efficient service. This is the second time Dave has visited our house. The first time, he repaired the door when I had been told I should "just replace it". He assured me it had many years of service left. This visit was for a failing opener. He arrived early, replaced the opener in about an hour with one that ran much smoother. I'll definitely be calling Precision again next time I need service.

Dave Ackley was my technician. Fast and reasonable price. It's an old, heavy wooden door with a lot gone wrong - broken pulley, rollers, safety cable, and we weren't sure it could be fixed (old parts no longer available). It's running well - better than before.

Dave explained what repairs needed to be done, completed them in a timely manner, and showed me the damage on the parts that he replaced. In addition to replacing the broken spring, which was the reason for the service call, he replaced the corroded cables and the rollers which were making noises. Dave was courteous and a great representative for your organization.

Absolutely outstanding speed of service and exceptionally professional service technician. I called with a broken main spring and both cars locked in the garage at around 1:30 PM, by 6PM repairs were complete and life returned to normal. I highly recommend them for any repairs or other garage door work..

Excellent service from call to finish. Came out at 9 pm to fix broken door and was professional, efficient, and helpful. Called Precision after contacting another company whose service technician was rude and unwilling to make an after-hours call even though they advertise as such. My wife hit the garage door that was previously installed by precision. The bottom panel needed replacement. The panel matched door perfectly. The technician actually arrived early. The panel was replaced in a very short amount of time and the door looks perfect.
