There was rust on the bottom of my garage door, and the retainer had fallen out. Ron came out, assessed the condition of the door, and recommended that I get the bottom section replaced. He told me the manufacturer, the model number and the color and said that this would be my most cost-effective option. He also fixed a roller that had popped out of the rail. After taking the time to do all of this, he didn't charge me anything. I really appreciated the timeliness, service, and the whole approach. And the fact that after spending all this time and giving me valuable advice Ron didn't charge me is very much appreciated. This is a great company to work with. I will be sure to call again should anything happen in the future. Two thumbs up!

Called 6:30AM today for a broken spring on our 4 year old garage door. Scheduled an emergency appointment for 7PM over the phone, but Ron was able to come over 11AM and replace the spring. Very grateful for the quick response, as we were unable to manually lift the door to get our cars out. Thanks, Ron!

Having used Precision Door in the past, I used the number on their "Refrigerator Magnet" when my garage door stopped working from the remote. As I am "older", and somewhat disabled, the thought of having to walk in and out of the garage every time I use my car to take my dog for a walk (in 27 degree weather) caused concern. I called Precision. The very pleasant lady on the phone set up the first available appointment for a week later. Later in the day Precision had a cancellation, I accepted it without question. In the meantime, I replaced the dead battery in the remote (apparently upside down) with a "viable" replacement I had in my battery "collection". When the repair person arrived he turned the battery right-side up, and the remote now works. Embarrassed? You bet. He refused to accept payment for simply turning a battery over -- but I still feel a bit incompetent, and thankful for his attitude. Such persons are few and far between these days. Highly recommended -- great service both times (4 years apart).

My husband and I were ready to go grocery shopping and I pushed to open the garage door. It didn't open and instructed us to refer to owners manual for particular error code. My husband could not find any error codes in the manual. So I panicked and called the office. They scheduled service tech Nick Dillman to come and fix the problem. He came very quickly and found out one of the 2 springs was broken. Nick was very polite and professional.

Our technician Sadmir Hamzic was excellent, he explained everything he did. Answered my questions and visibly showed me where my doors were extremely weak. He was able to correct everything. I was originally told that the earliest appointment available would be the next day after 5:00. I was completely surprised when Phil called and said he had completed everything he needed for the day and was able to come over right away. He came in and did an assessment of the problems and gave me a quote to get my door working. He also showed me some areas of concern. I approved the basic work and plan on him coming back to do the maintenance still needed. Phil did a great job communicating everything that needed repair. He had a great attitude and was very professional. Great job!

Excellent service at a reasonable price! We had a garage door installed several years ago by a builder, who was not a garage door expert. It squealed like a banshee and sometimes got stuck ... it was never right. Ron replaced the rollers with better quality ones, and adjusted the whole system to work MUCH better. And he didn't try to push anything on me that I didn't need, like a new set of springs. He said he could do a better job with a different spring setup, but since the door was not very old it didn't make sense. He also installed a 2nd opener button next to the service door, and adjusted a 20-year old door in my barn. Overall, I'm really happy with the results and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Called and requested new seal on bottom of 16ft wide Wayne-Dalton garage door. Service call was made, knowing you didn’t carry Wayne-Dalton parts. I paid for the call but feel I was a victim of bait and switch! I will pass on my experience. On the plus side, the technician was polite, professional and probably just doing the job he was trained to do.
