Called precision because my torsion spring had broken. Since its a $60 fee just to come to the house, I let them know exactly what needed to be replaced and the size spring it needed to make the trip worth the fee. The technician told my wife that putting in a new spring was a “bandaid fix” and tried to sell us a new garage door for $3000. Door is old. Doesn’t need to be replaced though. I gave specific instructions on what I wanted and they still tried to upsell my wife. Terrible. Will never do business with them.

My garage door wasn’t working so I booked online at 12pm on a Sunday and Ron showed up at 1pm! He was friendly and explained what was going on with the door opener, and gave us options about what we could do to repair or purchase a new one. He was very knowledgeable and we will definitely call him again next time!

Our garage door spring suddenly broke on the Saturday morning before we were expecting a week of extreme cold temperatures. We called Precision Door Service and they were able to give us the options of emergency service on a Sunday evening or non-emergency on Tuesday. We opted for the Sunday service and also asked that if they were able to come earlier Sunday, we would be here. They were very professional-emailed and texted the appointment reminders/confirmations. The technician called in the morning after 9am on Sunday with a moved up time and all work was completed by around 11am-the technician was here for less than an hour and went over every step of what was done- had to brace door on bottom-older wooden ones. The estimate of the work was given prior to the appointment and it was reasonable. While here the technician also gave us an estimate on how much it would be if we were interested in replacing the doors (60 years old) or the garage door openers (13 years old each) as the other door keeps resetting at close about 4" from the bottom- he determined it is the opener and when we get tired of resetting- then replace. No pressure. We appreciated the honestly, reasonable price, and quality work BEFORE the cold snap. Thanks for fitting us in Precision Door Service!

My day was made! Our garage door opener hasn’t been working correctly for a while. We had tried to no avail to fix it ourselves. Decided to call Precision to see if they could fix it. It was determined that it was an unfixable issue with the opener. This did not surprise me. A new opener was installed quickly and professionally. From start to finish with Precision, I was very happy and so glad to have my door opener working again especially in this cold weather! My techs were also great. I have worked with Precision door twice and have had a great experience both times. Scheduling was easy, fast and convenient. This time I knew my garage door opener was broken. And the tech (Felix) clearly explained what exactly was wrong and what it would cost to repair or replace. I chose to replace the opener. The tech was efficient and I could see that he really double checked all the fittings on the garage door to ensure that it would be running smoothly and optimally, which is especially important to me in my 1920 built house with heavy old garage doors. He took the time to explain all of the features of the new opener and helped me reset the keypad. Really outstanding. I would heartily recommend this business.
