I needed my torsion springs replaced because one of them broke. I was fortunate enough to have Felix as the gentleman who came to repair it. Not only was I very happy that he was able to make my appointment earlier than scheduled (he called ahead to see if it would be OK), but the speed at which he worked was very impressive. Felix was very friendly and was a fountain of information. As he worked he took the time to explain the importance of using quality parts and the proper maintenance and care of the door and related equipment. He did not pressure us to do anything beyond the basic door tune up. We did decide to install new rollers to quiet the door's operation. 5 stars. I had a single garage door with opener installed. I initially talked with the owner who examined our garage, explained the various options, and provided a quote. The door was installed within a week. The technician was knowledgeable, conscientious, and courteous. The quality of his workmanship was excellent. My experience from beginning to end was first-rate. One of our old garage door extension springs broke, leaving the heavy wooden door stuck in the closed position. I called Precision and they came the next day--a Sunday evening. Mark and I got the door open to get our car out. He said he could replace both springs but recommended replacing the door with a new steel door and safer spring system. There was no pressure to buy and since our existing door was 50 years old, we ordered a new door from Mark during the service call. Since we needed a non-standard 15 foot wide door, Precision did not have the model we wanted (with windows) in stock and had to order it. They scheduled installation 3 weeks out. On the scheduled date, Felix called prior to arrival, took about 4 hours to dismantle and remove the old door and install the new one. We are very pleased with the new door which is much quieter than the old one, while letting in daylight. I am a stickler for customer service and I have to give kudos to this company. The call-takers were efficient and polite. The two technician/installers were very courteous and professional. I found this company on Angie's List and would highly recommend them.
