Technician arrived to install a garage door opener that I had purchased. The tech showed up without a ladder tall enough to perform the work and then informed me that since the box was open (it was torn) that he couldn’t install it. He insisted that we return it and get a new unit.

Broken torsion spring. I first contacted Precision via the website and received an automated email response stating someone would be contacting me soon. After not hearing from anyone after 10 days I decided to call Precision. They were apologetic and sent out a technician the next morning. Sadmir arrived and was polite, professional & knowledgeable. In addition to replacing the torsion spring he also recommended new wheels and new cables, which were clearly old and worn out. The total was $540 which was a little bit more than expected but saved me a day of aggravation and restored my door to excellent working condition. Sadmir is an excellent employee and great representative of Precision. I will use Precision again in the future and specifically request Sadmir. I would suggest that anybody needing their garage door repaired call Precision directly and do not rely on the online contact.

Jon Vargas, our technician, came during the appointed time, texted me he was on his way, saw the problem immediately and resolved it. I had disengaged the door and was unable to reengage it. The best. I will use Precision again and recommend them without hesitation. Felix Coriano was skilled, professional, friendly, patient. He did an excellent job of removing two old doors that had not functioned for many years. He installed new doors, new hardware and removed all the old remnants from the old and packaging from the new. I used Precision because the other two overhead door companies I contacted were incredibly expensive or the people I spoke with were abrasive and rude. It was a pleasure to speak with Felix before the job and I couldn't be more pleased with the finished work.
