During the recent ice and snowstorm I was desperate for help with our broken garage door. All three exits to our house were blocked and we could not get out. I spent the entire day Sunday on the phone trying to get help with no luck until I reached Precision. There were some firms that were trying to earn quick cash during this tragedy, another that filled the phone book with ads but was out of town but Precision came to our rescue. Thank you for your honesty and good work! I give them 5 stars.

I can't say enough about your company. Our new garage door with windows is beautiful. The installer did such a nice job, cleaned up everything after himself. We didn't have to do anything after he left, except admire his work. I have to give him credit, he installed our door in below zero conditions. He insisted on doing it regardless of the weather. I will recommend your company to everyone. Thank you Precision and your dedication of excellence!

So glad I called Precision. During this cold February, by garage door opener wouldn't open. I called, and that day Mark was there. Luckily it was a simple repair and was taken care of quickly. Mark was very courteous and nice to chat with for a bit. I will definitely call this summer to get a tune -up done.

I found Precision Garage Door Services online by "Googling" "garage door repair review Rochester NY" and they came up as one of the highest rated companies with both Better Business and online-website reviews. (I generally don't go with the most TV-advertised company since advertising is a huge overhead cost; I use the internet instead.) The repair was not an emergency so I made an appointment over the phone for a time that was convenient and promptly received a confirmation e-mail that included the name of the technician that would be repairing the door for security purposes. Ron, the owner, personally fixed my broken torsion spring on one of the coldest February 2015 days on record in less than half an hour. The price was very reasonable and he honored the $10 off coupon and lubricated my OTHER garage door that had been acting up. He first told me the rollers may be worn out on both 10-yr-old doors and needed replacement, but we agreed to try lubrication first. This worked and both doors function like new. I recommended Precision to my boss after he heard about my interaction since he also needed his garage doors tuned up. I will certainly recommend Precision to others and use them in the future.

We have used Precision on multiple occasions and we have always been happy with their service. This time around, the winter weather finally caught up with our old garage and our cable snapped, leaving our door suspended and jammed. Our service was immediate; repairs were made as well as pressure-free recommendations. Their fees are extremely reasonable and everything was back up and running within an hour. We will be coming back to you guys for all our service needs!

What started as a service call for a broken torsion spring turned into a new garage door. When my tech for the broken spring told me everything that was included in a new garage door I jumped on board right away. They even gave me a loaner spring until the new door was installed! We had been considering replacing the door anyway, so to us it seemed like a no brainer! Precision was great to work with, affordable, and the installers were very professional and thorough.

A friend referred me to Precision for installing a garage door opener that I had already purchased. I've lived in my home for 20 years and was always told there wasn't enough clearance for an opener. I was determined, so I ordered an opener online that I was sure would work. Dave came out to install it and sure enough he wasn't 100% certain it would fit. Instead of opening the box and assembling it (I would not have been able to return it), he had an opener that would work and the cost was a little less. Dave worked in sub-zero temperature and did a fantastic job installing the opener. He was professional, prompt, and an overall nice guy. I will definitely call Precision again for all my garage door needs.

Torsion spring broke at 7:30pm on a cold, snowy Saturday night and we were scheduled to head out of town on vacation the next day. I called and the operator said they could send someone between 10:00 pm & Midnight. Felix arrived shortly after 10:00 pm and the door was fixed before 11:00 pm. I appreciated the appointment confirmation e-mail that included the name of the technician who would be coming, with a link to his bio, including picture and testimonials from other customers about his work for them.

My roller on one side had come off a track, which had rusted badly at the base. Mark came out on a Saturday and did a quick fix that let me open and close the door. He returned the following weekend and gave my old door mechanisms a complete rebuild. Now it opens and closes better than I can remember. I'm a happy new customer.

Dave Mackay and a trainee did a great job. Besides replacing a broken spring and the spring on the other side, they inspected the rollers, cables and bearings. They recommended replacing the pulley and center bearings which I agreed to do. They then showed me the old bearings and how bad they were. They lubricated the door rollers, new springs and new bearings. They reviewed the bill with me. They were professional and very pleasant to work with.

Precision was recommended to me by my parents who were very satisfied with the service they had recently experienced with Precision to fix a broken spring. We needed the overhaul package where they replaced the springs, cables, pullies, etc. Felix was very knowledgeable and friendly and completed the work in a very reasonable amount of time. I especially liked receiving an email prior to the service date with pictures and names of the technicians so I was familiar with who might be showing up at my door. I would call them again if I ever need their services, but hopefully that won't be necessary for a long while now. I would highly recommend them.
