Today I had my garage door repaired. It’s one of the old heavy ones. In fact it’s the original one from when the garage was built very heavy. I love it but I’ve had it repaired more than once. And it’s time to replace it. I give the work 4 stars and the door is working great. I will check around on door pricing before and different styles before I am ready to do anything. I believe this company has been fair with its pricing and they do quality work.

Technician arrived to install a garage door opener that I had purchased. The tech showed up without a ladder tall enough to perform the work and then informed me that since the box was open (it was torn) that he couldn’t install it. He insisted that we return it and get a new unit.

Broken torsion spring. I first contacted Precision via the website and received an automated email response stating someone would be contacting me soon. After not hearing from anyone after 10 days I decided to call Precision. They were apologetic and sent out a technician the next morning. Sadmir arrived and was polite, professional & knowledgeable. In addition to replacing the torsion spring he also recommended new wheels and new cables, which were clearly old and worn out. The total was $540 which was a little bit more than expected but saved me a day of aggravation and restored my door to excellent working condition. Sadmir is an excellent employee and great representative of Precision. I will use Precision again in the future and specifically request Sadmir. I would suggest that anybody needing their garage door repaired call Precision directly and do not rely on the online contact.

Our spring broke at 6:30am this morning (Saturday). I called Precision at 8:00 when they opened and Rob was here by noon. He was in and out in 15 minutes and was a super nice and pleasant guy!
