Ron was direct, and very helpful. Our Genie is 20+ years old and may not last much longer. He unplugged the unit, plugged it back in and it appear to work again (perhaps not for long). But there was no charge, as he said “I didn’t do anything.” That alone was refreshing! He did lubricate the rail, and said he hoped it lasted, but is sending me a quote for a replacement should the time come soon.

Was having issue with door not closing. Of course once Mark got there at end of day he reset the manual option and naturally the door closed. He explained that he believed it has to do with the time of day/sunshine. He explained the sensors so I now know how to look at them (esp. the green one) and make sure it is not flashing. Also explained the lock feature on my units since I wasn't sure and he sprayed the tracks/wheels so the garage is definitely quieter. All in all he answered my questions. Explained things to me.
