After examining our forty year old door Ron gave me the option to have the door replaced or repaired. I had already been told by another company that the door could not be repaired and that it would be dangerous to not have a new door installed. I chose "repair" I couldn't believe that in an hour Ron from Precision had our door running smoothly and quietly. It's great. It saved us a lot of money. Ron's quote for a new door turned out to be lower than other quotes I had. Because of their friendly, skilled professionalism and very fair pricing I will definitely be calling on Precision when it's time for a new door.

I choose Precision through Angies List as I didn't really know too much about this type of thing. Precision came on time, fixed my problem and advised on any other things that were needed quoting me a price for future reference. They were not pushy. I was very phrased with their work.

I had a special request to take two perfectly good doors down so I could make some structural repairs on the wall they were attached to. Mark made special arrangements to remove the two doors in the morning and come back later that day to put them back up. Sounds strange, but Mark really helped out making the time to perform this task and giving me enough time to make the structural repairs then getting them re-installed asap. The doors work perfectly. I am pleased with the quality and expertise of Precision technician Mark Sherman.

I purchased a garage door opener from the big orange box... and on a recommendation from a friend, I called Precision... Ron the owner came an installed the opener himself... he did a great job !!!! We Picked Precision from Angie's List because it was very highly rated. We were not disappointed. The serviceman did a great job replacing broken springs and rollers and also checking over the workings for the other garage door to make sure it was ok. We would definitely use them again.

Mark was very helpful, with lots of good information; he did an excellent installation job. Two minor quibbles: (i) what I told on the phone didn't match the price initially charged due to the addition of a service charge (Mark corrected this immediately when I complained) and (ii) the opener, which is very nice and quiet, has the new MyQ Security 2.0 rolling code system and it does not work with the Homelink receiver in my 20121 car. This was rather annoying to learn after the fact. The incompatibility is not Precision's fault but it seems to me that I should have been informed of the possibility that there could be a compatibility issue before installation, as such problems are known. Homelink is sending a repeater kit to help me solve this problem (for the cost of shipping only). But dealers should press Liftmaster to include this kit with their units (or provide them free to dealers to include as a free add-on for customers that need it) for the next several years.

We contacted Precision because you would take a service call on Labor Day weekend. We had a late appointment -- 5 to 7 pm -- but Mark had a cancellation and was able to see us at 2:30. He contacted us a half hour before to make sure we were available. He was informative and efficient in fixing our broken spring and adding a door overhaul; then we discovered the garage door opener had also failed, and agreed to make an appointment when he could return with the proper part. With both repairs he clearly communicated our choices; he was courteous and capable. We are very pleased with both the door repair and our new garage door opener.

Our garage door spring had broken on a Sunday morning so 24/7 repair service was very important to us. We checked out the yellow pages and online and called Precision. I found Precision while doing an internet search. Precision is a great company to get your work done with. Ron came out quickly to estimate a replacement door and to also replace the overhead opener. Mark showed up a few days later to do the installation. Mark is very professional, friendly and thorough and completed the job on an extremely hot and humid day. If you get a chance to use this team I recommend that you do.

I had a wonderful experience with Precision and would recommend them to everyone. After 4 months of waiting on other garage door places for estimates etc. - I saw Precision was #1 on Angie's list so I gave them a call. Ronnie came that same day and gave me the quickest estimate I'd received out of 4 places. What I appreciated about Precision is Ronnie wasn't a sales person, he is the owner! There was no sales pitch and he spoke to me like a normal person - I appreciated that! It was Thursday I had the estimate done and Josh came over on Sunday and put in my new garage door! Josh was very courteous and polite. He did the job in just a couple of hours and when he was done, explained everything to me and off he went. I would definitely recommend Precision to everyone. And the prices beat all the other places - there's no comparison, as far as I'm concerned!

Mark was friendly and efficient. One of the cables broke and the door would not close. He did the repairs and recommended that I also replace the rollers, which I did. I would definitely call him for future needs. I have used Precision for garage door repairs at my former home in Irondequoit.
