On a cold Sunday morning in December 2020 when everything was going wrong that could, A cable snapped on our “mature” garage door as it was being opened. Mr Ackley responded within few hours by replacing our older and broken cables, allowing us to close the garage door again. Such professional and prompt service from Precision Door!!!!

Precision was prompt, knowledgeable and very friendly. My technician determined the issue on my first door immediately and had it fixed and running smoothly in no time. For my second door he provided recommendations to help further its functioning life and didn’t just try to sell me on parts replacement as a precautionary step. I would highly recommend them for anyone in need of garage door servicing.

I selected Precision based on their reputation as expressed by others. My interest was to obtain their perspective on whether I needed a repair or replacement garage door. After an inspection, Ron suggested a quick fix that I could try myself in the short term yet eventually the older door would need replacement that could wait until spring. Ron was honest and professional. John G.

I truly appreciate the excellent service in all aspects (timeliness, professionalism, cost and no push to buy something I didn’t need). Ron is the best service person I have ever met. Even though he does not carry the specific door model to replace mine, he provided many good suggestions. We will certainly use his service in the future. Thanks Ron!

Mark sent a text five minutes before arriving, which was nice, even though he was 40 minutes early. He couldn’t do the weather strip we wanted because of the brand, so he recommended another vendor, and didn’t charge for the estimate. So: good “pre” customer service but I still need to get the work done!

I’ve used Precision Door Service several times for various issues with my garage doors, primarily broken springs which can be dangerous to work on if you don’t know what you are doing. My most recent service call resulted in my 18 year old opener needing replacement because of a failed circuit board. Felix from Precision arrived at the exact time the agent on chat said he would, and BTW the service call was placed entirely on chat while I tended to a business call, in less than 10 minutes nonetheless. Felix diagnosed the issue and offered options, including replacement with a WiFi enabled opener which I planned on getting if it ever needed replacement. Felix had the new opener on his truck and replaced it in a little over an hour, and we were back in business albeit with new capabilities like being able to know if our door is open and being able to operate it from anywhere in the world. Precision continues to deliver world class service at competitive pricing and their tech’s like Felix are fantastic to work with.

Precision has serviced my garage doors for the past twelve years. There has always been a courteous and friendly voice answering the phone and scheduling appointments. The friendly techs arrive on time and are courteous. Any necessary work, with price options, is clearly explained before work begins. There is no pressure to choose one option over another. The work is done correctly the first time. Any debris is completely removed. Precision is the company I continue to call.

A technician, Dave Ackley, came the same day I called. My remotes were not communicating with the garage door opener. He quickly solved my problem and also did a general maintenance check. The garage door is now moving (and starting and stopping) much more smoothly.
