Ron (the owner) was punctual, very pleasant, and professional. Got my garage door opener working and all remotes synched, which makes life so much easier when you don't have to get out of your car to open and close the door! Will definitely use this company again should the need arise.

I found Precision Garage Door Services online by "Googling" "garage door repair review Rochester NY" and they came up as one of the highest rated companies with both Better Business and online-website reviews. (I generally don't go with the most TV-advertised company since advertising is a huge overhead cost; I use the internet instead.) The repair was not an emergency so I made an appointment over the phone for a time that was convenient and promptly received a confirmation e-mail that included the name of the technician that would be repairing the door for security purposes. Ron, the owner, personally fixed my broken torsion spring on one of the coldest February 2015 days on record in less than half an hour. The price was very reasonable and he honored the $10 off coupon and lubricated my OTHER garage door that had been acting up. He first told me the rollers may be worn out on both 10-yr-old doors and needed replacement, but we agreed to try lubrication first. This worked and both doors function like new. I recommended Precision to my boss after he heard about my interaction since he also needed his garage doors tuned up. I will certainly recommend Precision to others and use them in the future.

Broken Spring, cables and rollers replaced, quickly and efficiently. While I hope not to need to call again for a long time, I would do so in an instant if the need arose. The people on the phone doing the scheduling were pleasant and Ron was great - answered questions as he went along and made the door work better than it had before the spring broke. We had need of a return visit, to make a minor adjustment and that too was well taken care of, both in scheduling and adjusting.

We saw an ad in the phone book yellow pages that stated Precision worked on our make of garage door opener. It was great to communicate with a person when we called. I also liked the internet connection, to confirm appts., and pictures and brief bios of the technicians. The reviews were also helpful and interesting. Ron arrived both days on the early side of the estimated appointment time. Ron replaced the mother board in our opener very reasonably. It's been working great ever since. Thanks, Ron. Ron came and replaced broken tension spring. He also advised me that it would be a good time to replace the rollers as well(with polyeurethane) ones). He did not pressure me into the decision, I made the decision and he was able to do all the work within a few hours. Service was professional from start to finish.

When our garage door broke we spoke with a number of area companies but quickly decided to go with Precision after meeting with Ron. Scheduling was quick and easy, Ron was very punctual for both the estimate and the install and was very respectful during both. The price was the better than the competition and he did not try to "sell" us on a particular product, just gave us the choices and facts. In our case our door was stuck in the open position and Precision was the only company that offered to close the door for us if we choose to go with them, and Ron returned the night we called to do just that. I have already recommended their service to a family member and will continue to do so in the future.
