New to the area, never had a garage door opener and it wasn't working so I went to the phone book. Ad looked professional and there was a discount for mentioning ad. Thought I would have to wait until next day but then they called back with time in 1 hour....great!!! The tech was very good about educating me about garage doors and fixed the problem plus pointed out other issues. Thanks!!!!

Wonderful experience with this company especially when compared to another company in town that starts with an F. The man who installed our opener was super! He made sure we got the opener that met our needs so we would use the built in garage door openers that are in our cars instead of having to use the ones that came with the unit. He did not have the proper opener in his truck so he had to make a special trip to get the right one. The installation was fast and perfect. He made sure all was working well and that we knew everything about our new opener as it had more features then our old one. And he installed a box outside of the house so we could get inside the garage if we locked ourselves out which has happened before. I highly and I mean highly recommend this company. Oh one more huge thing the installer actually was friendly and valued our business and gave use great customer service. Other stores can learn from Precision overhead door service company!

Precision Door was highly recommended on Angie's List. My garage door was behaving in a strange manner, and my though was to have it replaced until I read about the tune-up special. That seemed to be the best alternative, the technicians arrived early, performed their magic, and everything works beautifully! I also had a new opener installed, not that I needed it, but wanted to bring my house up to code. Besides, the old one was 22 years old. I was so pleased with their work, that I inquired which garage doors they sell and will focus one those brands when I'm ready.

We called Precision based on other reviews we had seen on line. They were very easy to work with. The appointment was scheduled with ease, the technician called prior to showing up and when they came they were professional and gave me my options. We decided to not have our current door repaired but to rather purchase a new opener. The technician gave me an estimate of how long it would take and stayed within that time frame. The only thing I didn't like was they did not give me the option to use the current wiring but rather ran new wires in my garage. At the end of the day it's not a huge deal but that's why I didn't give them five stars. I would have like to have had input into the decision.

Our Garage door wouldn't go up -- the motor hummed, but the chain didn't move. I called Precision, and got a very knowledgable and friendly technician who quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem (a nylon gear, designed to "fail first" as it was easy to replace, had worn out). As a bonus, he checked, oiled, adjusted, and cleaned the rest of the opening mechanism.

In the last year I have had Precision come out for an emergency garage door repair and a trouble shoot for my garage door opener. The technician was Mark Sherman and did an excellent job each time. Precision was the only company who came out on a Sunday for my emergency door repair. They were great from the customer service on the phone to the final work done at the house. This review is an easy one. I contacted Precision Door for a garage door estimate. Ronnie came to my residence and explained all my options and prices. I told him what I wanted, he then filled out an order form/contract. We shook hands, and he gave me a copy of the contract. After he left, I noticed there was a place for me to sign on the form, as acceptance to the purchase and installation. Ronnie accepted the hand shake as my word, without asking me to sign. I may be "old fashioned", but a hand shake is better than a signature of acceptance or agreement. I trusted him from that point forward. The door was installed while I was out of town on business. When I returned home I found the door, and installation, to be beyond my expectations, along with absolutely no mess left behind to clean up what-so-ever. I would, and will, recommend Precision Door to anyone looking for a new garage door, and or repair of existing doors. The technician, Felix, did a great job!
