I chose Precision because 5 years ago, on a Sunday, the spring on my garage door broke and we could not open the garage. I called the garage door company I used before and they weren’t able to come out for 2 weeks. Both cars were in the garage and we would not have been able to go to work the next morning. I called several garage door companies with no luck and then I called Precision. There emergency tech arrived 2 hours later on Sunday. My springs were replaced and I was very pleased with the job that was done and the tech that did the work. This service was to replace the safety sensor that a wild animal had chewed through. The tech that arrived was the owner and he was very professional and did a great job. I highly recommend Precision for your garage door needs.

Our garage door decided to break on Thursday night. Contacted Precision on Friday, and the problem with fixed on Sunday. Easy to deal with, and the job was done quickly (along with fixing a few other things that the original installer did wrong). I will absolutely call again if we need garage door service, and they'll be my recommendation if neighbors ask who to call for this sort of work. THANK YOU!

Had Precision install openers and new doors in 2012, the Technician was very helpful providing education in the care and maintenance of the equipment. Fast forward to 2026, 13 years! and began experiencing intermittent closing problems on one of the doors. Called for a service appointment which was promptly scheduled as this was not an emergency, the Technician called ahead on the day of the appointment and asked if it was okay to come earlier than scheduled, when does that ever happen!, Turns out the technician was the Owner of the Company, Ron, he promptly diagnosed the problem, a bad board, which was corrected with the installation of a new opener vs trying to find replacement parts for an opener no longer in production. Ron also went above and beyond by lubricating both doors and replacing the bottom rubber seals. I can't say enough about the professionalism of this company, the quality of the work and cleanliness after the job is done.

I made an appointment with Precision Garage Door of Rochester due to water coming into the garage under the door when experiencing heavy rains. Ron, the owner, came out and examined the door. He explained that the water coming in under the door was not due to any problems with the door and that the bottom rubber on the door which was in great shape. I very much appreciated Ron's honesty and his patient and thorough explanations in answer to my questions. Ron is courteous, respectful, professional, and skilled. I learned of Precision from our superintendent of buildings and grounds at my complex. He said they had done work for him and he was very pleased! Had Precision out to troubleshoot my garage door and get an estimate on replacing the opener. Instead of just pushing a whole new system on me, Ron actually took the time to find the real issue. Ended up just needing the pulleys fixed and replaced. Now the door runs like it's brand new. Really appreciate the honesty and great service, definitely recommend them!

Thank you Precision for your excellent service on Father’s Day! Ron came out at 8 AM Sunday morning with no additional fee considering it was Father’s Day. He quickly diagnosed the sensor issue, replaced the sensors, did some light maintenance and was on his way within 15 minutes. Very glad I chose Precision to install my garage opener 5 + years ago because their follow-up service was amazing. Highly recommend!
