I purchased a new door from Precision in August 2020. Door tension spring broke on 1/5/2026. Very short life span if you ask me. Technician blamed the short life span on moisture because the track had rust on the bottom. I am not sure if I agree with that. Price was more than they quoted me on the phone and $30 more than another local company. When I mentioned this, he said "why am I here...you should have gone with them". (I should have in hindsight...I went with precision because it was only supposed to cost a little more than the other company and they were the company that initially installed my door). Technician added a baring that was not on the original quote on the phone which made the price higher than expected. He said he would take that off the price which I thought he meant that he would still replace it at no cost.... nope. He just didn't replace it. If it truly needed to be replaced, he should have conveyed that to me, and I would have paid the higher price. I printed out a coupon, but it was not excepted (I didn't realize there was more than one Precision garage company) - He could have easily taken off the $25 coupon from the correct website but I had no way to print it. Due to the short lifespan of the tension spring I think I will look elsewhere.

Broken cable for my garage door needed to be replaced. I went online to find a high rated company and saw the many excellent reviews given to Precision Garage Door of Rochester. So glad that I chose them. The technician (Phil) arrived quickly and did an outstanding job. I was amazed at how fast he was able to get the door back up and running smoothly. He took the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions. I will definitely be calling Precision in the future for all of my garage door needs.

A little disappointed Did not get my garage door opener fixed. The chain broke, which stopped it from opening and closing. I was told that he wouldn't fix it because if it broke again, I would get mad at him. He gave me a quote for a new opener.

This time the technician was very good the prior technician apparently put the wrong springs on for my garage door. This technician was vey thorough and communicated very well that I decided to have an extensive replacement of all hardware though out the door to avoid further problems in the future.

Ron arrived at the scheduled time and diagnosed the problem— a faulty keypad on our garage door —within a minute of his arrival. The repair was reasonably priced and completed quickly. Ron was warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. Ron diagnosed and fixed the problem with a sensor on the door that was original to the house (years ago) within minutes. When we eventually needed a new door, we called him. This guy knows everything about garage doors! We will call Precision for all of our garage door needs.

We purchased our door from Precision Garage Door of Rochester about 10 years ago. A spring was broken and had to be replaced. Our Technician was Zikret Omic. He very clearly showed me exactly what was absolutely necessary. He gave me three different estimates which included the bare minimum to get the door operating, an estimate that included replacement of a few parts that were worn and an estimate to replace all the parts that were showing wear. There was no pressure as to which to choose. I opted for the most inclsive work to be done. The door was repaired quickly and at a price which I thought was reasonable. I highly recommend this company and if I need further assistance, I'll ask for Zikret Osmic as my Technician again.

On Sunday right after Christmas a cable snapped on our garage door. I did an internet search to see if I could find a service provider on a Sunday and Precision was the ticket. Their website had everything I needed to make an appointment. The person who called me (within minutes of my online request) was very thorough and helpful. The service technician arrived when he was supposed to and was very friendly and helpful got right to work. Half an hour later the door was working like new and the cost was pleasingly lower than I expected. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service.

T'was the night before Christmas Eve, and all through the garage, not a creature was stirring, not even the Dodge. The tires were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that Santa would fill them with air. When suddenly there arose such a clatter, I ran to the garage to see what is the matter. A main spring snapped along with the cables, and to open the door, I was unable. An urgent call to Precision, and a technician named Sadmir arrived to thoroughly save our Holiday and restore our garage door to operate better than ever. My only concern is the online scheduling. When I called to verify the rep said there is nothing showing that I scheduled an appointment. I told her I have the confirmation showing my schedule date and time. Then she was going to schedule me out a week because my Tim was gone. So I was forced to do an emergency call which would have cost me additional $125. I was able to get the call earlier since there was a cancellation. Ron was great and quick. Job well done. Next time I will call for appointment and stay away with the online.

Was little disappointed when I first called the 24 hour emergency number and was told couldn't come out till Jan 2, 2026 when I called Dec 24th. For a 24 hour emergency service thought that was ridulous for a so called 24 hour service
