A good experience from the very beginning. Call was answered in a friendly and professional manner. Date was scheduled. The next day I had to change the date -- no problem. The "day of", the technician let me know he could come earlier if convenient. He arrived, did his "magic" and I paid the charge. Refreshing indeed.

We have two heavy wooden overhead garage doors that have been in service since long before we bought our home 52 years ago. About 6 years ago we began to have failures in in basic parts including both electric door openers, the cable fastening plates, the wheels that support the doors in their rails, and the main cable pulleys. We have called Precision Garage Door of Rochester three times to diagnose and fix the problems. Their scheduling has been very easy and convenient. Their technicians (most recently Sadmir Hamzic) have been on time, friendly, courteous and competent. They have solved every problem quickly even when special or unusual replacement parts have been needed because of the age of the doors. The cost of repairs has been reasonable. We could not be more pleased.

My garage door intermittently failed to open or close. Sadmir diagnosed the problem and outlined my options. He efficiently made the repairs and took the time to thoroughly discuss the work both before the job and after the work was completed. Called precision because my torsion spring had broken. Since its a $60 fee just to come to the house, I let them know exactly what needed to be replaced and the size spring it needed to make the trip worth the fee. The technician told my wife that putting in a new spring was a “bandaid fix” and tried to sell us a new garage door for $3000. Door is old. Doesn’t need to be replaced though. I gave specific instructions on what I wanted and they still tried to upsell my wife. Terrible. Will never do business with them.

My day was made! Our garage door opener hasn’t been working correctly for a while. We had tried to no avail to fix it ourselves. Decided to call Precision to see if they could fix it. It was determined that it was an unfixable issue with the opener. This did not surprise me. A new opener was installed quickly and professionally. From start to finish with Precision, I was very happy and so glad to have my door opener working again especially in this cold weather! My techs were also great. Very patient with my questions and thorough in explaining all of the functions of the new opener. Highly recommend this company!!
