After being told we could not safely install a second garage door opener by one company, the Precision Door Service tech said, No problem. We didn’t have a door opener purchased (as per the first company), but No problem, the Precision guy did. In about an hour, he had everything installed and the (very old, very heavy solid wood) was door going up and down. Our installer was wonderful and was working with an apprentice, who said he felt lucky to be working with the installer and the company. Perfectly satisfied!

Phil was awesome. He was very professional yet personable. He was super efficient in both the quote process and the repair. He explained the problems and how they happen, and then gave good explanation of future maintenance. He gave various discounts and even bumped up the warranty, all while coming in under the original quote! Definitely will recommend this company.

I was able to chat online with a representative on a Sunday morning and schedule a service for the next day. Every time I have used the services of Precision Door of Rochester, I have been extremely pleased. I had had my old garage doors that were purchased from another company serviced several times by Precision, and the work was always done quickly and well. My garage door spring broke on a Saturday morning. Wanting same day service I called these folks. They sent out a service tech named Marty who did a great job and explained every thing. Felix came out to our home, and fixed our garage door. There was an issue with something getting wound up and causing the garage door to go up or down at an angle. About two months prior we had an independent contractor come out and fix the senors. He came from Greece (20 minutes away) Complained it was too far for him and over charged us. Not to get too emotional, but as we were moving my Father's (He passed 1/5/18) office into our garage was when we noticed the issue of the door coming down sideways. A week later my Father passed. All I wanted was to get it fixed ASAP, so it was one last thing my Mother had to worry about. We called this independent contractor who said he will be out in the next week. We waited a month for him to show up. I called him, he claimed we were too far, and he hurt his shoulder. A call would of been nice. I looked up Precision, and I thought with the amazing website, and customer service this was gonna be a lot of money. From the extremely simple phone call to set-up an appointment that took mere minutes, to getting someone out to our ("too far") house the very next morning, to Felix being amazing with his knowledge, friendliness, and understanding. He explained everything in terms I would understand, didn't comment on my still-in-pajama appearance, and he did an fantastic job. The price was a lot more reasonable, and I will only be using Precision for now on. I definitely would recommend this great company!!

In sub-zero wind chill weather on a holiday week-end, Jennifer (who answered the phone) assured us Precision could fix the broken chain on our "primary" garage door today. Ron was here in about 2 hours, explained what needed to be done, told us up front what it would cost (honoring the coupon from the website), and was done in about 45 minutes. From start to finish, these folks were professional and just great people! THANK YOU!

Office staff was very professional and helpful when scheduling an appointment, and we also liked the follow up email confirmation with a picture of the technician that was to visit us. The technician was also very courteous and professional; he arrived at the stated time, he quickly solved our problem, and gave us very good maintenance advice for keeping our garage door in working order.
